I can't believe its been a year already. Late night printing got me thinking about our amazing day in January last year. I put so much of me into every little detail.
Friend and artist Carey Potter made these gorgeous signs for us, I love them. I also have one of his paintings, its huge and hangs above my bed.
Our reception was in an old horse stable, I wasn't a giddy bride, but when we found this I actually cried. Then the logistics of making this into a venue our guests would enjoy was a challenge and one that I took on all on my own!

Garden weddings
I love a garden wedding, and as many of our brides are getting married about this time of year, we are thinking of you and we hope this weather is kind to you on your special day.
Thank you Bonita for choosing to work with us on your wedding invitation, I loved this design, I wasn't completely sure about your colour selection, but, as always, I am tickled pink (or deep green) with the results and I love this invitation and the colour.
We hope you have a wonderful and special day, you were just a dream boat to work with. I am so lucky to have met you.

Don't be afraid to really personalise
I can’t believe it’s been over a year since we met this gorgeous couple. From our first meeting it was easy to tell this couple was just going to be lovely to work with and their vision was clear. They really wanted something special and it had to be just for them.
Don’t be afraid to really personalise your wedding stationery. Ben & Leigh were getting married at 333 Collins Street in Melbourne, for anyone who’s visited this building will know how incredibly detailed the interior ceiling is, so we used this as inspiration and turned it into a pattern for the invitation.
The suite had a two colour invitation, I love this blue green and it really compliments the second colour, we also went for a stunning japanese paper lining for the thank you cards…more on this shortly.

Ben & Leigh
It's been a little over a year now since we worked with this gorgeous couple. We created an entire invitation suite for them, but I especially love these gift cards, it's the shape, I love the shape and I am so thrilled this creative couple let me really "go for it" on this design.

Popular by design
This has been a very popular design for us, I've done 4 variations on this swirl. We've done it in a peachy colour, a burgundy colour and this gorgeous turquoise colour, we mix all the colours ourselves, so there is no limit, and as corny as it may sound, the only limit is your imagination :).

50 friends for 50 years
We don't just do weddings, and I love it when some interesting projects and clients come my way.
Letterpress gift tags
We tried gift tags about 18 months ago, and they just didn't sell, and then about a year ago we decided to bring them back, and oh boy have they been a hit! We started selling them at Markets at the beginning of the year, then shortly after that offered them to retailers, and only now have I found the time to add them to our online shop.

As seen in Inside Out Magazine Christmas
Our gift tags were featured in Inside Out Magazine Christmas edition. The photos look great, the crew did an amazing job making our tags look awesome, not only have we had a tonne of enquiries about the tags, I picked up some nifty Christmas recipes too.

Melbourne Letterpress
I've been making these cards for a while now. They are Melbourne inspired and have been created using photos I've taken of the things I love about our city. These cards have been very popular with stockists and new customers, they have also inspired a couple of other projects, some custom work for IOM and for City of Melbourne, I'll post images of this work in the next few days. xox
Country Victoria
This was a gorgeous couple that met while growing up in the country. The pair had many fond memories of farm fencing, they even visited a friends property to take the photo that we used to create the feature at the bottom of this invitation, I did jazz it up a little.

Gift cards for my online shop
Every day I will be putting up at least one new product into my online shop, this is something I have been promising to do for a very long time, and I won't rest until it's complete!!
A very important date
when planning your special day, you might like to use some Save the Date cards, especially if you have interstate or even international guests attending your wedding, and it just might take the stress out of wondering how many guests there will be.
We can design these for you too. Have a lovely day everyone.

Belinda Kay in Daylesford Victoria
A beautifully simple design to go with an elegant and modern wedding.
I've heard it before and I believe it to be true..."your invitation is the first impression of your wedding for all the guests."
These invitations were printed in charcoal grey with a tiny flicker of violet metallic in the flourish at the top of the invitation. These invitations were folded and sealed with wax, no envelope needed here.

RSVP trade show Melbourne
I was totally hooked on black and white this year, and couldn't get enough of the fake turf and the purple decorative cabbage.
This year we exhibited at the Melbourne RSVP event suppliers show. What a thrill, I was very nervous about being amongst such an elite and experienced lot, but we were proudly nominated as a "Best new product finalist", and I think our little stand came together very well.

And what a year it's been!
I visited my own blog today, something I haven't done in a very long time.
I'll be spending the next couple of weeks uploading images of work we've done and shows we visited this year. Here is a photo from the bridal show we did in March this year. It was great, and we met a lot of gorgeous brides. Would I do it again - absolutely!
